Affiliate Marketing and Network Marketing are like cousins in the marketing world.

What is Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing is when you promote other people’s products and earn a commission from the sale of those products.

What Is Network Marketing

Network Marketing is a business model that depends on person-to-person sales by independent representatives, often working from home.

Affiliate Marketing is when you promote other people’s products and earn a commission and Network Marketing is a business model that depends on person-to-person sales by independent representatives, often working from home.

You can very well do both and be very successful at doing both and earn a substantial income from your efforts.

I myself would not recommend doing both at the same time but if you looking to do something full time and keep your self occupied then you can give it a try.

Let’s start with Affiliate Marketing and show you the main reason why some people choose to go with affiliate marketing instead of Network marketing at first so we can compare Affiliate Marketing Or Network Marketing.

With affiliate marketing, you are given the chance to earn a commission from other people’s products with usually no out of the pocket expense.

When you promote an affiliate marketing business or product should I say you earn a commission from getting others to buy that product from your referring website link or offers even through emails which they call email swipes?

The nice thing about affiliate marketing is you are not required to pay any money to join the program or use any of your own money to make a sale in doing so unless you buy paid advertising yourself but that’s totally up to you.

Affiliate Marketing is a product or service you join and want to promote their product or service to your friends, family, or website visitors so you can attract others to make a sale.

When you join the program, they assign you with a referring link or tracking user they assign to you and when someone clicks on that link or user you earn a commission for the sale for referring them.

Some of the affiliate marketing programs that you can join also have a cookie assigned to your links and if someone clicks on that link or user address and don’t buy at that time they are still tracking that visit for up to 90 days so if they come back to the site you still get the commission for that sale.

You can literally make a big income from affiliate marketing if you really master the way of promoting the products or services to the right market.

Once you know who your target market is and know where to promote it you can literally make hundreds to even thousands of dollars month after month by promoting affiliate marketing products and services.

Most affiliate marketing programs can pay anywhere from 10 percent to 80 percent in commissions for referring others to your links or user addresses of your affiliate marketing programs.

I myself would not promote an affiliate marketing program that is paying less than 10 percent commission’s for my work but that is my preference.

There is all kinds of affiliate marketing programs that you can join like Clickbank, CJAffiiliates, and even Amazon to just name a few.

With some of those online programs for example with Clickbank, you can promote thousands of products with their affiliate marketing products they have on their site for you to promote.

Amazon used to have a sweet affiliate marketing program but they have ruined it but reducing their affiliate commission from around 8 percent down to about 3 percent for most and they have been taking a lot of flack from lots of their affiliates who are stopping to promote their affiliate program.

If you are already into affiliate marketing of some kind you already probably know how to market some of these affiliate marketing programs.

So for those of you who don’t know how to do so you can give some of these ways a try in earning with affiliate marketing.

• Online Classifieds

To advertise your affiliate marketing program with any of the above ways to advertise you can do it free or you can create a pay to play campaign for advertising your affiliate marketing program.

If you are great and you’re not shy to get in front of the camera then I highly recommend YouTube to get the word out about your affiliate marketing programs.

You just create a YouTube Channel and once you are approved to upload videos to YouTube you can really do well in doing so with YouTube and advertising your affiliate marketing program with them.

They also offer you the chance to advertise your affiliate marketing programs with paid ads once you have set up a video that you are happy with to promote.

You can also set up a pay per click campaign with the search engines for example Google, Bing, and Yahoo to advertise your affiliate marketing programs.

My personal favorite to advertise any affiliate marketing program is blogging.

With blogging, if you can create a great blog and build an audience to promote your affiliate marketing programs you can do very well with blogging and affiliate marketing.

Now lets move on now to Network Marketing or some people like to call it Multi-Level Marketing.

With Network Marketing you can do very well with it and not so well with it.

I’m going to be honest about network marketing.

You will hear people say if you don’t get in at the right time you won’t make any money with Network Marketing, well that is not true.

Network marketing is a business model that depends on person-to-person sales by independent affiliates, often working from home.

The business may require you to build a network of business partners or salespeople to assist with lead generation and closing sales to your friends and family and help the network marking business excel in growth.

Lets talk about the real truth about any network marketing business.

I’m going to share with you the cold hard facts about network marketing and some may agree and some may not.

Most people who join any network marketing business will only average about $2500.00 to $3500.00 a year in income.

Those who really work the program more than about 20 hours a week in their network marketing business will earn over $25,000.00 a year in income.

Now those who work it full time can make over $100,000.00 a year in income.

The elite people in any network marketing business who do make a huge fortune at it is about the 1% of people who are into the network marketing program.

Some will also earn over a million dollars a year at doing so, now these are those people who are laser-focused and are willing to do it day and night.

Ok, the good news about network marketing is if you have the willingness and drive and don’t quit your network marketing business you can very well make that 6 figure or 7 figure income with any network marketing program.

The nice thing about any network marketing program is once you create your passive income you going to get paid day and night no matter what you doing with it.

If you decided right at this moment to never get involved with a network marketing program and just stay at your day job forever well here’s what i”m going to tell you about your day job and I have nothing against as some people love their day job.

You will have to work the 40-year plan, which is fine that is up to you but if you hate your day job then I would tell you to join a network marketing program and see if it’s for you.

If you stick with your day job you are only going to earn from your day job when you show up for work so if you get sick and have no medical insurance like short term or long term disability your not going to earn an income.

With a day job you only get paid for the hours you work so if you don’t show up for work your not going to get paid unless you have a sweet day job that pays you to not show up for work.

Now with network marketing, you can literally create an income stream that we call passive income and earn money 24 hours a day 7 days a week if you follow the steps of doing it right.

Once you have created the passive income wheel in your network marketing business you will earn an income whether you get out of bed early in the morning or late in the morning you will earn an income.

To achieve this in any network marketing program and earn a passive income its not going to come easy.

Your going to have to work your butt off for at least 2 years but to me 2 years sounds better than 40 years right.

You will be required to sponsor others into your network marketing business never say recruit others it doesn’t sound very professional to me personally.

You going to have to show others how to duplicate the process of your network marketing business with them so they can be able to show others without you over time.

Also, you going to have to be able to guide them by the hand until they are comfortable without you as well now I don’t mean be a full-time babysitter with them either.

The thing about doing network marketing you can very well make a huge income with it as long and you set goals and never quit it.

Most people who join any network marketing program quit them and that’s why previously I talked about who makes the money and who doesn’t and that’s why most don’t make money with it, they mostly quit it too early to see the potential of it.
